Docks designed for disasters.
Northeast Florida's Register Marine design docks far superior to older designs. For instance, in the event of a catastrophic storm, the dock is engineered to allow the modular dock surface to seperate leaving the pylons and frame intact by reducing the load. Also note the angled precision of the underside which was designed around the current flow. Oh, and the actual materials are even superior to aluminum or wood. Sure, you could call it over-engineered, but that's what makes it better.
